hello 2011.

it's been a great year.

all four days of it.

we celebrated the new year as a family.

we had balloons.

streamers.

noise makers. 

as if we needed devices to make more noise.

confetti.

 and ice cream sundaes.

we played games.

and drank sparkling juice.

at 8:15 we rang in the new year with confetti cannons.

and then put the kids to bed.

I stayed up for midnight.

when the ball dropped I woke up tom to kiss,

with tears in my eyes I told him how happy I was 

to be with him another year and so excited about the blessings in 2011.

and then I tiptoed in to kiss my two sleeping babes.

hello 2011. I like you already.
