joy.
one of the best joys in life is my babies making each other smile.
or totally crack up.
glad to see I am not the only one having a great time.
eggciting.
boys feed the animals and check the coop.
our very first egg.
he wanted to hide it.
under his armpit.
as a guprise for his grandparents.
and it was scrambled by the time they got here.

p is for picture-book.
perfect weeknight craft:
extra photos. a ring clip. hole puncher.
a piece of cardboard. and extra stickers.
trent helped sort the pictures. punch the holes,
and put them on the ring.
we folded stickers over to work as dividers.
(pictures from the zoo. pictures from the firehouse. etc.)
we traced a picture and cut out two perfect size cardboard pieces.
we found the letters in trents name and decorated the cover.
perfect for letter P show and tell.
and remembering all those many adventures.

chick magnet.
watching this guy of mine.
chase and yes, eventually catch.
clip.
and sweet talk.
these five chicks.
may be one of my most fave things to do.
and yes, the chicks dig him.

pink.
from across the store she spotted it.
her face lit up. her fingers and toes wiggled with excitement.
pink. pink. pink.
essie. in cute as a button. pink.
she pleaded.
so I painted.
(now our weekly.saturday.pre-church.routine)
she was perfectly pink and proud.
and rushed off to show her daddy.

welcome to the neighborhood.
trent's christmas present this year was a map.
of our neighborhood.
I printed. laminated. and glued logos
for places we drive by or frequent,
onto his wooden blocks.
(chik-fil-a being the former, church being the later)
now the star wars guys. dinosaurs. and monster trucks
have had a real time taking over the neighborhood.
