easter.

a day of celebrating indeed.

happy happy easter.

tubing.

of all the fun we had, tubing most certainly one first place.

a true burket style family adventure indeed.

sundance.

one of our favorite stops in utah was to sundance.

everything about it was just beautiful.

the mountains were jagged and covered with the greenest trees.

and the snow melted into great waterfalls.

it was extraordinary and simple at the same time.

love.

snow much fun.

needless to say, these kiddos loved playing in the snow.

they love bundling up.

making snow angels.

making mini snowmen.

and of course making and throwing snowballs.

he threw snowballs.

and she threw snowballs.

he got her.

and she got him!

and one even came right at...

uh-oh!

smackdab in the middle of mom's face!

we kissed. made up. 

and then ran inside to warm our freezing cold florida hands.

jenga.

kiddos are quite simple. they find joy in the smallest of things.

we flew across the states to ski in the snow,

and this kid could not have been happier just playing games.

jenga to be exact.

he played morning to night with his aunt laurie.

and would just go haywire each and every time the tower fell.

and the only person more tickled than trent was aunt laurie,

who was videotaping all their jenga games on her go pro.

the joy was certainly in the jenga. 

next time perhaps we will just plan a jenga trip.
