trent had his first soccer game friday.

and for never playing soccer before, he had a lot of great moves.

we call this one monkey in the middle.

(you go in the middle of the pack and kind of run around, paying no attention the ball)

and my favorite, the roadrunner.

this one is a special two parter, it ends with "the gentleman".

yes, he stopped to make sure she was okay.

most importantly, for every fall...

he got right back up.

and never stopped smiling.

like, ever.

it's Friday, and we couldn't be happier.

time for friday happy hour.

peanut butter and jelly smoothies.

a collecting spot.

both of our kids have a collecting spot.

their very own spot. for their collections.

there are no labels. organizing. or ever picking it up.

just their fave books, stickers, little mans, and notes, 

even Aunt Carolyn's christmas card from last year.

baby dolls. captured star war guys. tiaras. and tutus.

I love to see the things they collect and treasure.

all the things that are so wonderfully them.

true colors.

a day to remember and to celebrate America, and all the real super heroes.
