last year he played with a bucket of water.

this year they discovered the spicket on the side porch.

needless to say,

we can put the pool off for a bit.

tutus and running water.

spraying and splashing.

hollering and giggling.

is about as fun as it gets. 

good clean fun.

yes, that counts as a bath.

playground aficionado.

this summer we vowed to become playground aficionados.

so he suggested we go playground hopping.

we hit 4 playgrounds in one night.

with enthusiasm and vigor.

if there is one thing these kids are good at, its fun.

our top four::

1. Crescent Lake. for the greenspace. ducks. and toy car

2. North Shore. for the water views and climbing rocks

3. Airplane park. for airplane & sailboat watching and unique equipment

4. Patrick's Park (aka Coffee Pot). close enough to walk to.

I'd say we're playground pros.

these two love to cook and crack eggs.

to measure. dump. and mix.

she can scramble eggs and roll dough.

even with a pouty face.
